As more and more people enter the workforce, there is less time to clean the house, cook meals, read children bedtime stories, and many other daily chores that need to be done in order to keep a household running. Many people decide to stay home after having children, but even those who do not have children still do not have time during the day to accomplish everything they want to. Robots can help. In the next few years, robots will be introduced to help with daily chores. There are already robots that can vacuum and devices that can monitor children while they sleep. It is only a matter of time before robots will be used for more chores and other tasks around the house.

  Robots will work at any time, do not argue, and can perform most tasks. Since most labor intensive jobs have been given to robots in car manufacturing plants and other places, robots helping out inside the home is not that far off. It will be nice to leave the housework to a robot who will not make a mess, who will do exactly what is asked, and who will get the job done on time. Robots that can cook and clean will help people by giving them more time to spend doing other things. It will be a change from the way things are now. Robots will also be able to watch the house when people go away on vacations and will be able to baby sit children when parents want to go out by themselves. There are many uses for robots that have not been discovered yet, but will in the future.
